Constitution Day Videos
A talk by Dr. Richard A. Baker, U.S. Senate historian, on the Constitution and "The World's Greatest Deliberative Body."
U.S. Sen. Robert C. Byrd, Introduction to the U.S. Constitution,
a 15-minute video by the Senate's leading constitutional scholar.
Origins of the Constitution,
a 10-minute video shot in Philadelphia at Constitution Hall, weaves artwork and music into a short history of the U.S. Constitution, recapping the events surrounding this bold, new plan in self-governance, which was signed on Sept. 17, 1787.
These videos are appropriate for middle school, high school, and college audiences.
