CyberSurgeons Builds and Recruits in 2012
CyberSurgeons™, funded by the National Institutes of Health, is a comprehensive educational package designed to teach anatomy and physiology and translational science to high school science students. In 2012 the
CyberSurgeons team presented the program to evaluators, teachers, and school administrators at several conferences and continued to recruit students to take part in the
CyberSurgeons simulation and teachers to incorporate the
CyberSurgeons Research Center website into classroom curricula.
Development of the
CyberSurgeons Research Center site progressed with additions to problem-based and case-based learning modules, teacher professional development resources, the Healthcare Career Directory, body systems curricula, and clinical trials resources.
