Challenger Learning Center Reaches out During Summer

Even though the summer means school's out, the Challenger Learning Center® at the Center for Educational Technologies® has been quite busy. The facility has managed a variety of missions and training:
- Eight teacher training sessions for upcoming e-Missions™ at the Marshall Technology Outreach Center at Marshall University in Huntington, WV.
- Two training sessions for the Operation Montserrat e-Mission™ for teachers at Pittsburgh Public Schools.
- Teacher training sessions for the Operation Montserrat and Space Station Alpha—Middle School version at Marshall University in Huntington, WV.
- Operation Montserrat e-Mission™ for 25 members of the West Virginia Primary Care Association at their meeting at Oglebay Park Resort in Wheeling.
- Training session for 24 teachers for the Operation Montserrat e-Mission™ in the St. Clair County Regional Education Service Agency in Marysville, MI.
- Moon, Mars, and Beyond e-Mission™ for 25 4-H members in grades 4-6 at Thanksgiving Point, a nonprofit institute created by the founders of WordPerfect Corporation in Lehi, UT.
- Two teacher training sessions for upcoming Moon, Mars, and Beyond e-Missions™ at Virginia Beach Public Schools in Virginia Beach, VA.
- Administrator training sessions for upcoming e-Missions™ in the Henrico County Public Schools in Richmond, VA.
- Moon, Mars, and Beyond e-Mission™ for 25 4-H members in grades 6-8 through Utah State University in Logan, UT.
- Training session for teachers for the Operation Montserrat e-Mission™ in the Rockingham County Public School District in Harrisonburg, VA.
- Session on the Operation Montserrat e-Mission™ at the Edmonton Public Schools Broadband Summer Institute 2007 in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
