Girl Scouts Fly Mission

The Challenger Learning Center® at the Center for Educational Technologies® conducted an on-site mission Sept. 15 for 36 Girl Scouts of the Black Diamond Council from Charleston, WV.
Participants in a Challenger on-site mission get a taste of what it’s like to work in a space station and mission control. During a two-hour mission participants serve on one of eight teams in mission control or on the space station. Merging the power of imagination with the excitement of discovery, students became engineers and scientists as they simulate a space mission.
